Conceived of as a horizontal blanket. the quilt squares hang 6-12" below the wooden frame and secured with threads and pins. The process of creating the quilt includes heating up a river stone and placing in each quilt square to form it then removing the stones.
The Quilt "frame" is designed to be dismantled easily and is notched two foot sections that secure together like a puzzle and resembles a plain weave. The individual qulit squares are constructed from 4 pairs of underwear and is based on the traditional quilt patterns chasing geese.
