The making of an asteroid.  In my practice I collaborate with materials from the past, present and future.   When the stones are warm they become one with the beeswax, absorbing the wisdom of the mother bee. I place the smaller stones in melted beeswax letting it envelple them, warming them from the outside. I hold them leaving my own traces and joining them in becoming something new.  When the stones are big and heavy they need to be warmed from the inside otherwise the wax sits on the surface and crumbles.  My favourite way to do this is with a warm fire. Sometimes we have to make do with the tools around us. If we can quiet our minds and shift our perspective, there are new universes to be found all around us.
